Agathe Backer Grøndahl (December 1, 1847–June 4, 1907) was a Norwegian pianist and composer.

She was innate around Holmestrand, Norway, and late moved by using her personal to Oslo, where she exposed under Otto Winther-Hjelm, Halfdan Kjerulf and Ludvig Mathias Lindeman. Late she exposed under Hans von Bülow in Florence, and under Franz Liszt in Weimar.

Grøndahl composed inside sum the few 400 pieces spanning Lxx piece of music figures, & was a large character within Norwegian music life. She was as well the close friend to Edvard Grieg. Late around life she became nearly all deaf, forcing her to give up her career as a performing artist.

Agathe Backer Grøndahl died within Oslo, 59 years old.
